The surface is made from more than 7 million pieces of 1 millimetre long, yarn-dyed fibres. The classic beauty of traditional handmade rug textile patterns has been combined with the patented and high-tech fibre coating process.

• The fibres in the MouseRug ® grip the tracking ball. This allows the user to mouse in a smaller area than traditional mouse pads. Also optical mouses work fine on the MouseRug ®
  
• Superiorly comfortable and most decorative computer mousing surface.
  
• The fibres in the MouseRug ® act as a brush as the tracking ball mechanism passes over them. This activity cleans lint and other particles off the tracking ball.
  
• The fibres are specially treated with a conductive finish so that they help ground the mouse by drawing static electricity away.
  
• MouseRugs will easily last many years and they can be hand washed.
